Jennifer Weiser Bezoza is the DIrector of Law and Policy. She has been committed to ensuring equal access to education for over twenty years. In furtherance of this goal, she has done legal and policy work for several non-profit educational organizations in New York and New Jersey, including Education Law Center, Advocates for Children, Institute for Education and Social Policy, and Charter School Institute. She has also worked as a special education teacher and a private tutor.
Jennifer’s litigation practice has focused largely on complex, class action cases to reform institutions, primarily in the areas of education, disability rights, and voting. She was a Senior Staff Attorney at Disability Rights Advocates in Berkeley, California, a Staff Attorney at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law, and a Law Clerk for a federal judge in the Southern District of New York. Most recently, she was a Visiting Professor in the Civil Litigation Clinic at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Jennifer received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from Yale College.
